I have noticed the rear of my truck has been vibrating lately so I got under it just now, I thought it was the diff . Nope, not the diff. Apparently when I got 5 new tires they didn't secure my spare. They just left the bolt in the wheel. This is why I hate taking my truck to shops and prefer doing the work myself

I'm lucky I didn't lose the spare or the bolt. Especially because Ive been doing stuff like this:

Discount is usually pretty good. I went to a location I dont usually go to because my usual one only had 3 of the tire I wanted in stock. I think I'll just avoid that location.

they had the some of the cheapest tires in town for the 77 vette, throw in the free alignment with a full set, I pulled the trigger. Only to be told alignment was 175 bucks, apparently a seventies corvette is exotic. The free only applies to cars and light duty trucks. Called the BBB had the old tires remounted took my business elsewhere

I also have a usual auto parts store too. My local oreilly's staff is so nice, they will go out of their way to help you with your car, they would even work on it with you in the parking lot of it was a slow business day. But I found that out on my own.

My tacoma has a cool winch thing for the spare. I have to wind a lever and it lowers the wheel on a wire.
